So Rob and I have been spending most of our free time searching high and low for our first home together! We started this process early February, and as of this past weekend are pretty certain we found the one! We have been in negotiations with the sellers on a home in Puyallup since Saturday, and we are ready to accept their offer! I would post pictures, but I think that I could get into some sort of trouble for that....since the house is not quite ours yet! I will tell you that it is an older home with a lot of charm. I knew there was something special about the house the first time we went to look at it! The moment I walked in it reminded me so much of my Grandma Grispino's house.....and for those of you that know me I spent a lot of time with Grandma Pino when I was little! The home is an estate, the women who owned it past away and she kept it clean as a whistle! Again, for those that know me well.....cleanliness is very important! The house is filled with original oak hardwood floors, a quaint kitchen with a back door that leads out to a patio and about 1/3 of an acre of land. There is an old clothes hanger in the back yard where I bet lots of clothes were hung to air dry. It's weird I don't know anything about this women, but I can picture her working around her home. The home has three nice sized bedrooms and one bathroom. We were hoping for two baths, but we can always expand! The garage was converted into a great bonus/family room that Rob has already claimed as his Poker Room! Hmmm I wonder if all the guys will appreciate my decor! We took Sky to see the house this weekend and he said.....it's perfect! Then he asked us if we could get one of those reindeer for the roof at Christmas time! Rob and I said absolutely.....but no giant blow up snow globes for the front lawn! After we stalked our potential home in the dark again we decided to call it a night! We went home and partied! Yep....me, Rob, and Sky played Monopoly until the early morn (ok...about 1am)! We know how to party like rock stars!
Say a prayer, cross your fingers and toes that we will soon be in our new home!
XOXO
