The little things that make us smile!

Last night I was hanging out in the bedroom watching some TV and Rob was on the laptop in the living room. We both thought that the other one was keeping an eye on Sake (our puppy)! I see Rob coming towards me, and he yells "Sake, what are you doing?" I jump up from the bed "What's going on?" Here is what I saw........

Rob and I have been joking for quite some time that we should have named Sake "Bounty" as in the "Quicker Picker Upper" because of his fascination with paper products! I think this incident may have convinced us to make the change!

We laughed and laughed over this....and obviously the look on his face saying "Hey guys....what's going on....I am just playing over here!" He got a little frantic when we started to clean his mess....he tried his best to ingest as much TP as possible before we performed the good ole' finger swoop to his little puppy mouth! Note: the picture only shows what Sake managed to drag out into the hallway.....let's just say he did a "bang up" job on the bathroom! Even though this was a mess to clean....we still took time to laugh about it!

This is just a little reminder to all of us to enjoy the little things in life that make us smile!

Have a great day!

It's Thursday and the sun is shining!

Well it's Thursday and I have almost survived my first week of 10 hour days! It's so strange, but working these hours has given me so much motivation! I will admit that I was starting to get a little tired this morning, but I got my second wind and am sailing right along. The days go by extremely fast, and I have been sleeping like a champ at night. Again, for those of you that really know me....sleeping through the night for me is almost unheard of.

Rob and I signed the final offer papers last night on the house, and escrow is opening today! The house is set to close on the 30th of this month. Yikes! I haven't even thought about the fact that buying a home means we will have to pack! Rob and I have been through the moving process a few times before together and he is awesome. My job consists of packing everything, and he moves it all! I really do have the easy part!

Skylar has been at the ocean with family the past three days and should be getting ready to head home now! Rob and I sure miss him when he is gone! He will be so excited to hear that the house plans are moving along. He has already told us that he wants a "Seahawks" green accent wall painted in his room, and Rob is pretty stoked to do this!

Well that's all for now....thanks again for listening!

Therapeutic blogging and April Fools!

So here I am again. My fourth blog of the day.....maybe this is the journal that I should have been writing in for years! Or maybe it's because I just started working 10 hour shifts and can't seem to stay focused on work for that long! I have been at work for 9.5 hours and I don't believe I have completed one piece of work related material. I have managed to mail off rent and netflix, balance my check book, have 12 conversations with our mortgage lender, and plan dinner tonight with friends! I tell ya what this 10 hour day stuff is a walk in the park!

Oh yeah, and I would like to send a shout out to Katie. She proceeded to occupy my day with text messages galore about her so called broken foot that happened this past weekend. Yeah, surprise surprise it was all a big April Fools Joke on me! Well she is probably still waiting for the flowers that I told her the blood bank was so graciously sending to her home, and deducting from her pay check because it was a joke gone too far! Well the April Fools is on you Katielicious! You are not near as clever as you thought! *wink*

On to other news.....

Sake got a new hair cut and Rob is still watching tv religiously!

House Hunting and fun with Sky!

So Rob and I have been spending most of our free time searching high and low for our first home together! We started this process early February, and as of this past weekend are pretty certain we found the one! We have been in negotiations with the sellers on a home in Puyallup since Saturday, and we are ready to accept their offer! I would post pictures, but I think that I could get into some sort of trouble for that....since the house is not quite ours yet! I will tell you that it is an older home with a lot of charm. I knew there was something special about the house the first time we went to look at it! The moment I walked in it reminded me so much of my Grandma Grispino's house.....and for those of you that know me I spent a lot of time with Grandma Pino when I was little! The home is an estate, the women who owned it past away and she kept it clean as a whistle! Again, for those that know me well.....cleanliness is very important! The house is filled with original oak hardwood floors, a quaint kitchen with a back door that leads out to a patio and about 1/3 of an acre of land. There is an old clothes hanger in the back yard where I bet lots of clothes were hung to air dry. It's weird I don't know anything about this women, but I can picture her working around her home. The home has three nice sized bedrooms and one bathroom. We were hoping for two baths, but we can always expand! The garage was converted into a great bonus/family room that Rob has already claimed as his Poker Room! Hmmm I wonder if all the guys will appreciate my decor! We took Sky to see the house this weekend and he said.....it's perfect! Then he asked us if we could get one of those reindeer for the roof at Christmas time! Rob and I said absolutely.....but no giant blow up snow globes for the front lawn! After we stalked our potential home in the dark again we decided to call it a night! We went home and partied! Yep....me, Rob, and Sky played Monopoly until the early morn (ok...about 1am)! We know how to party like rock stars!

Say a prayer, cross your fingers and toes that we will soon be in our new home!

XOXO

Everyone is doing it!

Hi Family and Friends!

So I vowed to never be one of those people that send long drawn out family reports at the end of the year. You know what I am talking about....the ones that say "Timmy is now 15, out of the acne stage, and has attended his first dance", and "Sally, well she won the spelling bee this last year, and is learning to control her outbursts with the help of daily meds and a family therapist". Yeah, now you are all following me! No, instead of doing that I am going to follow in the footsteps of some good friends and start "blogging". In all seriousness, I absolutely adore my family and I would love to have a place to share all the William's happenings. Oh yeah, right....maybe instead of starting this I should complete my wedding thank you's! Oops...those are coming!

Lots of love and laughs!
